Special Projects
This service provides districts the ability to combine services with the assistance of WNYRIC leadership to develop special projects to address district needs and initiatives. A planning meeting will determine the cost.
WNYRIC will meet with the district and bring appropriate resources to address the specific needs of the district. District will outline the specific need and make appropriate staff available for meetings and consultation.
Pricing will be determined per planning meetings. The district will approve the pricing and together the WNYRIC and district will agree on deliverables for this special project and the timeframe for such deliverables. A letter will be generated for the district to sign off on the increased expense with deliverable timeframes outlined.
The WNYRIC utilizes cost effective best practices determined by research that allows our experienced and trained technical staff to perform robust testing and support of the WNYRIC network in the areas of security, infrastructure, energy management, virtualization strategies, disaster recovery and business continuity. Therefore, we are able to be a district advocate for vendor contract issues and aggressively negotiate contract pricing and performance terms.
Staff follow best practices in order to provide necessary security as it relates to the most recent student, teacher and principal data security and privacy regulations.
