Library Services Level 1 - First Year Catalog Install

This service is for the conversion of library media centers that are migrating from an original card catalog setting to a computerized automated library system. This service includes creation of indexed catalog from MARC records, software configuration and system set-up customized to each library, and loading the application to designated server and library workstations.

The Library Services Team will meet with the district to present the options and timeframes for the project. The meeting will include costs and requirements of the districts participation in the library Automation CoSer.
The WNYRIC utilizes cost effective best practices determined by research that allows our experienced and trained technical staff to perform robust testing and support of the WNYRIC network in the areas of security, infrastructure, energy management, virtualization strategies, disaster recovery and business continuity. Therefore, we are able to be a district advocate for vendor contract issues and aggressively negotiate contract pricing and performance terms. Staff follow best practices in order to provide necessary security as it relates to the most recent student, teacher and principal data security and privacy regulations.
