Distributed Endpoint Support
The WNYRIC will provide up to one full-time micro computer technical support specialist to a district one day per week. WNYRIC staff will support library/media center Desktop, MDM and Cloud based end-user functionality. Services can be tailored to the specific needs of the district once a district technology support assessment is completed and reviewed with the district.
Duties may include troubleshooting, hardware/software installs, configurations, equipment inventory and assignments provided by district technology coordinators. Sick, vacation and personal leave are not covered in this service.
- Maintain a district LAN
- A designated district Technology Coordinator to work with the WNYRIC staff
- Comply with regional and state standards
- Comply with federal copyright laws
- Provide release time for technical training and regional meetings
- Provide sufficient time for technical staff to accomplish assigned tasks
- Provide qualified/responsible personnel to perform needed functions of daily technical activities for the district's technology department.
- Provide necessary training for WNYRIC personnel to keep current with new technology.
