Frontline IEP Suspension Data Import for PD-08
Districts may have their suspension data from their SMS (Student Management System) imported into Frontline IEP to populate fields for the PD-08 reporting.

District Responsibilities:
- Ensure all suspension data entered into the student management system (SMS) is up-to-date.
- Provide file to WNYRIC to allow enough time for import.
- Provide vendor with written authorization, on district letterhead, to import the data into the districts’ IEP database; specifying whether existing data must be purged or appended prior to import.
- Validate data once import is complete.
- Make manual changes, as needed, to ensure data is accurate before.
- Use the Frontline IEP-NY built-in functionality to securely transmit the PD-08 to the PD Data System.
WNYRIC Responsibilities:
- WNYRIC will obtain required text file from support SMS districts. (Nonsupported student management system districts will provide this file.)
- Provide district on best practices to ensure accurate import.
- Gen Ed ID # from IEP Direct
- Comments - Optional field
- Suspension Reason - Optional field (Values Restricted to: Drug Offense, Other, Removal by Hearing Officer, Weapon Offense)
- Suspension Type - Optional field (Values Restricted to: In-School, Out-of-School, Interim Alternative Setting)
- Number of days suspended
- Date of first suspension day
- Securely transmit file to vendor.
- Provide phone and email support.
- Serve as liaison between the district and the vendor.
- Ensure vendor is aware of and responsive to NYS Reporting changes and requirements.
- Maintain strict confidentiality.
- Offer Service Desk services (1-800-872-0780) from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
