Document Repository and Fax Direct
The Document Repository and Fax Direct is an module that allows districts to securely store student documents electronically in Frontline IEP-NY/RTI to be used in developing IEPs (individualized education plans). District controls user access abilitybto view and store documents. Documents can be uploaded or sent via fax.
Module is included in Frontline IEP bundled software pricing after set-up.
WNYRIC will provide training and support on use of product. First year support includes implementation and turnkey training.

Considerations
- “Save Password” features should be disabled in the browser.
- Web TCP port 80 and 443 is required to be open for general web and secured SSL connections from client workstations.
- SFTP Port 22 and FTPS ports 989, 990 and 991 are required for secure data transfers between district-hosted systems (student information system, data warehouse, etc.) and Frontline Education products.
- Browser history settings should be set to check for newer versions of stored pages on every visit.
- Pop-up Blockers must be turned off.
- Assess the effects of any Content Filtering devices on the speed of the connection.
- Assess the Internet bandwidth available for additional usage during peak times.
- Assess the effects of a Proxy Server on access and speed of the connection.
- Recommended display/screen resolution should be at least 1024 X 768 pixels.
- If using an IE browser, do not turn on compatibility view.
- Cookies must be allowed.
- Internet Explorer within Windows 8, 8.1 and 10 must be launched from the Desktop. Integrated Internet. Explorer in Metro is not supported.
In order to use any Frontline Education application, district devices
District will:
- Designate a liasion to work with WNYRIC
- Maintain user access to view, edit, or upload documents
- Scan documents to create *.pdf docs.
- Upload relevant documents and attach to the student
- Turnkey train new users
WNYRIC will:
- Provide training at set-up for Central Office users
- Provide ongoing support
The WNYRIC utilizes cost effective best practices determined by research that allows our experienced and trained technical staff to perform robust testing and support of the WNYRIC network in the areas of security, infrastructure, energy management, virtualization strategies, disaster recovery and business continuity. Therefore, we are able to be a district advocate for vendor contract issues and aggressively negotiate contract pricing and performance terms.
Staff follows best practices in order to provide necessary security as it relates to the most recent student, teacher and principal data security and privacy regulations.
