SchoolMessenger Communicate - First Year Implementation
This service covers the planning and implementation of SchoolMessenger's Communicate notification software. For districts brand new to Communicate, the WNYRIC staff assists a district with setup and implementation. Our service covers:
- Needs assessment
- Implementation planning
- Project management
- Orientation to Communicate
- Up to 4 hours of training
- Working with source data systems' staff on data needs

Required for all districts new to SchoolMessenger Communicate.
- Data integration requires source data systems such as student, HR/Finance, transportation, attendance, etc. Data integration capabilities in those systems may incur additional costs.
- Provide contact person to work with WNYRIC and SchoolMessenger personnel
- Attend all meetings
- If using source systems for contact information, data must be entered in the correct format prior to the launch
- Develop a plan to market and promote the Communicate system
- Determine a go-live date
- Provide access to desired data sources as necessary
- Conduct planning sessions and assessments
- Work with vendor and district to schedule required meetings
- Assist district in determining data sources
