WinCap RIC Hosting Fee

This service provides hosting of district database and application and ensures the proper environment for protection of financial data, as well as automated backups, ongoing maintenance and technical support. Cost depends on size of district.

This service includes storage and CPU space on a server in an environmentally controlled server room with UPS and power generation for at least 24 hours.  All servers are monitored 24x7 by staff and/or automated notifications.  Also include in a disaster recovery business continuity plan.   Trained experienced RIC technical staff update each server's Windows operating system as releases are made available. WinCap Software updates are installed by the vendor and this per/server cost is included in this service. RIC hosting also includes TSM backups to off-site storage and tape back ups are run nightly and retained for 21 days.
