IP Surveillance Service
This service delivers video security solutions through IP technology. IP Surveillance Systems operate on your existing local area network saving wiring and electrical installation costs by utilizing Power over Ethernet (PoE) technologies. This convergence of technologies delivers a high functioning and cost effective security system.
This service can be used for procurement, installation, and maintenance of new and existing compliant systems. A site survey is included in this service to determine proper placement of cameras. An optional camera module can be purchased called a virtual intercom which monitors the presence of visitors at entrances. Vendor support options include "A-la-carte" and "All Inclusive" model.
* IP Surveillance and thermal imaging cameras are used for security and safety purposes only. Facial recognition, or any other feature used for identifying and/or logging individuals, will not be utilized.
*Thermal cameras are an added enhancement to the existing IP Surveillance service. Districts must also have a Milestone server and Axis cameras.
