Audiological Consultation with Home District FM Equipment
This service includes monthly school visits to monitor school district owned FM equipment. FM equipment repair with additional participation in "FM Equipment Maintenance" service is available.
Ideal for students utilizing a district-owned FM system due to Central Auditory Processing Disorder (CAPD) or hearing loss and not currently receiving services from an Erie 1 BOCES Teacher of the Deaf-Hard of Hearing.This service includes monthly monitoring/troubleshooting of district owned FM equipment. Accessory replacement is provided. District is responsible for the initial purchase of the FM equipment along with replacement/servicing when necessary. FM repair provided with additional participation in "FM Equipment Maintenance" service. One audiological/FM fitting/FM evaluation or CAP evaluation (if appropriate) included.Please Note: FM Equipment Maintenance is only available for equipment less than six years old.
