Individual Speech
This service provides a one to one teacher/student ratio in 30 minute sessions and is provided upon the request of the CSE.
Speech and language therapists provide treatment of speech, language, voice, communication and/or auditory processing disorders. They provide training in social communication, augmentative communication and offer carry over activities for the classroom and home. For some students a therapist's expertise may be called upon for students with feeding concerns. The therapists working with hearing impaired students will focus on language and literacy development and speech reading.
