Blackboard - Integrated Mobile App Implementation
This service covers WNYRIC staff assisting a district with setup and implementation of Blackboard's integrated Mobile Communications App (MCA). Our service includes:
- Mobile adoption planning
- Needs assessment
- Project management
- Orientation to MCA
- One day of training
- Implementation assistance

- Required for all districts new to Blackboard’s integrated Mobile Communications App (MCA)
- Integrated mobile app integrates data at the individual student level. The basic mobile app integrates content at the district and school level. Please refer to service code 650.824.45 for basic MCA implementation services.
- Source data systems such as student, transportation, attendance, schedule, library, etc.
- Data integration capabilities – may incur additional costs
- District to provide contact person to work with WNYRIC and vendor personnel
- Attend all meetings for the setup of Mobile App
- Website content must be entered in the correct format prior to the launch of MCA
- Develop a plan to market and promote the Mobile App
- Determine a go-live date
- Provide access to desired data sources
- Perform any required data changes and data entry to work with the integrated mobile app
- Comply with all laws and regulations regarding data and usage
- Conduct planning session(s) and assessments
- Work with vendor and the district to schedule required meetings
- Assist district in determining data sources
