Unified Communications Training
Additional training for effective use of the Unified Communications service for instant messaging.
The WNYRIC will provide one-on-one, lab or lecture style training to district staff on set-up or use of instant messaging at the RIC, via phone or via web.See Related Services code 650.843 for full service details.
The district must be a member of the Unified Communications Service.
The district must provide a contact for training planning and communications to the school district staff. The district must provide identities of users to be included in training.The district must provide facilities for training unless using the WNYRIC site.
The WNYRIC will provide a customizable documentation template for end users.The WNYRIC will provide the client software and installation assistance.Staff follow best practices in order to provide necessary security as it relates to the most recent student data security and privacy regulations.
The WNYRIC utilizes cost effective best practices determined by research that allows our experienced and trained technical staff to perform robust testing and support of the WNYRIC network in the areas of security, infrastructure, energy management, virtualization strategies, disaster recovery and business continuity. Therefore, we are able to be a district advocate for vendor contract issues and aggressively negotiate contract pricing and performance terms.
