Mobile Device - iPad Enrollment Plus
The Mobile Device iPad Enrollment Plus for service includes unpacking the device from the factory shipped packaging, and put the cases on the devices. The service includes enrolling the devices in the district's provided management system. The devices will be ready to be distributed to the end users. The service will provide an inventory list of devices enrolled by the WNYRIC staff. Eligible Devices: WNYRIC supported devices manageable by WNYRIC supported management systems. iOS devices supported by the district's Mobile Device Management and eligible for the Device Enrollment Program (requirement: purchased through Apple Education).
The Mobile Device iPad Enrollment Service will work with a knowledgeable district designated staff member to plan and implement provisioning of the devices.

The devices will be evaluated for Out-of-Box failures, defects, and that the device is operational so that it is not delivered Dead-on-Arrival (DOA). All defective devices will be exchanged by the WNYRIC. If the district has purchased cases they will be put on the devices as per the instructions. The devices will be enrolled in the district's Mobile Device system through the enrollment process. If the district utilizes Apple's Device Enrollment Program (DEP) the service will follow the process to enroll the devices in the district's MDM. The device will be repackaged and shipped to the district per a pre-arranged date. The devices will be ready to be distributed to the end users.
The system will be tagged with a standard Erie 1 BOCES asset tag. District asset tags if provided by the district can be added at no charge.

Mobile Device Enrollment Plus service will provide the following:
- Professional and qualified personnel to set up and enroll the devices.
- Support of current MDM provided apps.
- Support Escalation of MDM issues to vendor support teams.
WNYRIC is not responsible for any Vendor supplied changes to features, functions, or charges that may affect service as described.
The District must:
- Have a robust wireless network and internet connectivity.
- Provide a management system for device enrollment.
- Purchase valid licenses for all devices managed by the district's management system.
- Provide Admin Access to the management system for the service to enroll the devices.
- Provide a knowledgeable district designated contact available for the duration, from the planning stages to the delivery of the devices to the district.
- Provide district asset tags if they would like them put on the devices.
The District agrees to:
- Provide access to the appropriate resources and notify the WNYRIC of any problems of inaccessibility to those resources.
- Comply with regional and state standards and federal copyright laws.
- Comply with vendor licensing requirements.
- Allow sufficient time for staff to accomplish tasks.
- The service is not responsible for any escalated issues unresolvable by the vendor.
- Erie 1 BOCES standard asset tags will be put on every device that is BOCES owned.
The WNYRIC utilizes cost effective best practices determined by research that allows our experienced and trained technical staff to perform robust testing and support of the WNYRIC network in the areas of security, infrastructure, energy management, virtualization strategies, disaster recovery and business continuity. Therefore, we are able to be a district advocate for vendor contract issues and aggressively negotiate contract pricing and performance terms.
Staff follow best practices in order to provide necessary security as it relates to the most recent student, teacher and principal data security and privacy regulations.
