BoardDocs - Policy Services Support Option

This Policy Services Support Option is ideal for those districts that have recently completed the development of a Policy Manual with Policy Services and would like assistance with uploading the Policy Manual into BoardDocs. However, Policy Services will also upload and format an existing Policy Manual into BoardDocs, if it is available as a Word document. This service includes not only the upload of the policies into BoardDocs, but also the formatting necessary for an organized and professional appearance within BoardDocs.

For districts that do not have a recently completed Policy Manual with Policy Services or that do not have their policies available electronically in a Word document, an additional fee may be applied to convert a paper copy or PDFs into an acceptable format for upload into BoardDocs. This additional fee would be billed as a Special Project at a cost determined by the scope of the project. This fee is necessary to offset the time and labor necessary to manually transfer the individual policy documents into BoardDocs.

Districts must also contract for either BoardDocs Pro or BoardDocs LT through Policy Services in order to add this optional service.

The district will contact Policy Services to discuss their current commitment with or interest in BoardDocs and if they would like this additional support option. Districts will provide copies of adopted and revised policies to their policy coordinator in a timely manner to be uploaded into BoardDocs.

Districts that are interested in working with BoardDocs, may elect to contract with Erie 1 BOCES and receive their BOCES aid on this service. Generally, districts would also be participating in ohter Policy Services such as Quarterly Policy Revisions (Level 2) or the Policy Audit (Level 3)
