In-School Suspension Using Restorative Practices
In-school suspension is designed to minimize the use of out-of-school suspension, while providing a constructive learning experience for students. This professional development is intended to address protocols for designing and implementing in-school suspension procedures. The focus will include designing opportunities to support students with varying social, emotional and behavioral needs in a positive and proactive environment.
The district will plan in advance and provide appropriate district representation at the training/session.
This service includes planning, facilitation, preparation of materials, customization and collaboration among staff as needed by Erie 1 BOCES.
