Robo Wunderkind/Eduportium
Robo Wonderkind is an educational platform that makes robotics and programming accessible for children from 4-year-old. Its simple and color-coded shapes are easy to design and build. It is safe, contains no small parts, has non-verbal/visual programming interface and requires no reading skills. Good for little children as well as non-English students or students with learning challenges. Easy building and programming provide a quick outcome and fit into any lesson timeframe. It is great for fine motor skills, spatial thinking and engineering, design, creativity, exploration, algorithmic and logical thinking, problem solving, collaboration and other soft social skills. Its open-ended child-initiated learning could be used in storytelling. It can be programmed on Robo Code App, Scratch App and Python app. Please refer to service code 550.068 for full service.

- Develop, adopt, and implement a district technology integration plan
- Plan staff development sessions with the WNYRIC staff developer and require attendance by appropriate staff
- Comply with copyright agreements
- Provide Erie 1 BOCES with the name and telephone number of a district contact person and all information as required by vendor.
- Maintain the local area network
- Notify WNYRIC contact at least 90 days prior to renewal date if district is dropping this service.
